High Protein Cheeseburger Bowl

A healthy, gluten-free bowl that brings all the comforting flavors of a classic cheeseburger. Quick and easy, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 100 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 head of lettuce or spinach
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • Burger sauce (Greek yogurt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, spices)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, browning it and seasoning with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder, until no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and spices in a small bowl. Stir well and set aside.
  3. Chop the vegetables: dice the tomatoes, slice the cucumber, and finely chop the onion. Place the lettuce or spinach in a large serving bowl.
  4. Assemble the bowls by spooning portions of the beef over the lettuce base and topping with diced tomatoes, cucumber slices, and onions.
  5. Add the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the bowls and microwave briefly until the cheese melts slightly.
  6. Drizzle the prepared burger sauce over the bowls or serve it on the side.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or chives, if desired.

Notes

Choose lean meat for a healthier option. Use fresh vegetables for the best texture and flavor. Adjust sauce ingredients based on your taste preferences.
