Greek Yogurt Brownies

Delightful Greek Yogurt Brownies that balance fudgy texture and rich chocolate flavor while being a healthier dessert option.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar or sweetener
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup flour (all-purpose or whole wheat)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until smooth and well-blended.
  3. Combine the flour, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently to avoid overmixing.
  5. Add the chocolate chips if desired and fold them into the batter.
  6. Bake the brownie batter in the prepared pan for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool the brownies in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.

Notes

Greek yogurt provides moisture and a tangy flavor. Substitute with almond flour for a gluten-free option. Chocolate chips add extra sweetness.
