Crock Pot Beef and Broccoli

A comforting and flavorful dish that brings classic takeout right into your kitchen with tender beef and vibrant broccoli.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a crockpot, add the sliced beef, soy sauce, beef broth, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger. Stir well to blend all the ingredients.
  2. Cook the beef: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender and infused with flavor.
  3. Add broccoli: About 30 minutes before serving, add the broccoli florets to the crockpot. Stir gently to coat them in the sauce and cover again to steam.
  4. Serve: Once the broccoli is bright green and tender, serve the beef and broccoli over cooked rice. Enjoy!

Notes

Use flank steak or sirloin for best results. Can replace soy sauce with tamari for a gluten-free option.
