Chicken Broccoli Pasta

A delightful one-pan dish combining lean chicken, fresh broccoli, and creamy sauce for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne or fettuccine
  • 1 lb diced chicken breast
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cream (or milk)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and broccoli florets. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the broccoli is tender but still vibrant.
  4. Pour the cream (or milk) into the skillet, stirring to combine with the chicken and broccoli. Let this simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve your Chicken Broccoli Pasta immediately, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For best texture, don’t overcook the broccoli and serve immediately.
