Chicken Alfredo Pasta

A rich and creamy Chicken Alfredo Pasta, perfect for cozy dinners and family meals.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fettuccine or preferred pasta
  • 1 pound cooked and sliced chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Sauté the chicken in a large skillet with olive oil over medium heat until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  3. Create the sauce by melting butter in the same skillet, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the heavy cream, stir continuously, and once simmering, mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and slightly thickened.
  5. Combine the chicken and pasta in the skillet, tossing until coated with sauce.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta; it should be al dente. Adjust the consistency of the sauce with reserved pasta water if needed.
