Homemade Garlic Knots

Delicious homemade garlic knots, perfect for dipping or sharing, with a flavorful blend of garlic, butter, and cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Pizza Dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter (unsalted, melted)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated, for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley (fresh, chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano (dried)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the dough by rolling it into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into strips, about 1-inch wide and 6 inches long.
  4. Knot each strip and tuck the ends underneath. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Make the garlic butter by combining melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the knots.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and brush with more garlic butter, then sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.

Notes

Handle the dough gently to maintain its texture and avoid overbaking.
